Amazon and all of its regional equivalent sites are included on the free plan. Walmart and Target require Premium.
What free users see on Walmart or Target
If you visit a Walmart or Target product page without Premium:
The in-page card shows a message that Target and Walmart require Premium, with a button to upgrade.
The extension popup shows a similar label, with a short explanation and an Upgrade to Premium button.
You can still use Vinegar normally on Amazon.
What Premium users get
With an active Premium subscription:
The ownership card works on Walmart and Target product pages, the same way it does on Amazon.
You also get other Premium benefits, such as the full ownership chain and unlimited avoid list entries, which you can learn more about on our ”What Premium unlocks” page.
How Vinegar checks your subscription
The extension verifies your Premium subscription with our server when you open Walmart or Target pages, and your plan is cached locally to ensure your experience is smooth.
If verification fails, for example because of a connection problem, you may see a message asking you to check your connection and reopen Vinegar.
Upgrading
Open the popup on a Walmart or Target page and click Upgrade to Premium, or go to getvinegar.com/account/billing while signed in.
After you subscribe, refresh the product page or navigate to a new one. The ownership card should load as usual. If you come across any issues, feel free to open a ticket.
